Course Description
Supervisors are the most influential body within a department because they ensure congruency of agency initiatives, policies, and practices. This course will provide a framework for leadership imperatives that embody an agency’s mission and the supervisor’s responsibility in achieving it. Participants will be introduced to the ‘nuts and bolts’ effective management strategies, complete personality assessments, and engage role-play exercises/group discussion. Add-On Information * This course is taught by one of our organizational psychologists (Dr. Catherine Warren, Dr. Chris Warren, or Dr. Amy Wax). * The content is adapted from our Supervisor Leadership Program. * Participants complete personality assessments and discuss how different personality traits and states impact situational workplace scenarios. * In-Person * 8 Hours
